HTTPS Website issues - Internet Explorer 9 does not allow you to enter information on some HTTPS websites

HI,
In which website do you have problem?
Were you able to sign to the website earlier?
Can you access other secure sites?
What changes were made before this issue occurred?

You may follow below methods which may help you to resolve your issue:
Step 1:
I would suggest you to disable any security program on your computer and check if it resolves the issue.
After checking for the issue you need to re-enable the security program on your computer.
Note: Running the computer without firewall or the anti-virus software is a potential threat to the computer; make sure to enable the security software after completing the troubleshooting steps and after identifying the issue.
Step 2:
Second the issue may be caused due to a corrupted add-on in Internet Explorer. To confirm the same, run Internet Explorer in no add-ons mode and check if the issue persists.
To open Internet Explorer in no add-ons mode,
a. Click the Start button, click All Programs.
b. Click Accessories.
c. Click System Tools.
d. Then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons).
If disabling all add-ons solves the problem, you might want to use Add-on Manager to disable all add-ons and then turn on add-ons only as you need them. This will allow you to figure out which add-on is causing the problem.
Delete the corrupted add-on and restart Internet Explorer normally and check if the issue reappears.
After you have used this process to determine which add-on is causing errors, you can disable that add-on. Or, you can uninstall the software that installs the add-on. We also recommend that you contact the software vendor that provided the add-on for additional troubleshooting and support.

GENERIC DRUGS VS. BRAND NAME DRUGS

Cheap generic drugs no solution for India’s poorest

A ruling this week, that for the first time allowed an Indian drugmaker to make and sell a blockbuster cancer drug at a fraction of the market price, has been hailed as a breakthrough by campaigners for cheaper medicine in the emerging economy

Generic drug : Generic Drugs, Are They as Good as Brand Names?

Generic drugs are copies of brand-name drugs that have exactly the same dosage, intended use, effects, side effects, route of administration, risks, safety, and strength as the original drug. In other words, their pharmacological effects are exactly the same as those of their brand-name counterparts.
An example of a generic drug, one used for diabetes, is metformin. A brand name for metformin is Glucophage. (Brand names are usually capitalized while generic names are not.) A generic drug, one used for hypertension, ismetoprolol, whereas a brand name for the same drug is Lopressor.
Many people become concerned because generic drugs are often substantially cheaper than the brand-name versions. They wonder if the quality and effectiveness have been compromised to make the less expensive products. The FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) requires that generic drugs be as safe and effective as brand-name drugs.
Actually, generic drugs are only cheaper because the manufacturers have not had the expenses of developing and marketing a new drug. When a company brings a new drug onto the market, the firm has already spent substantial money on research, development, marketing and promotion of the drug. A patent is granted that gives the company that developed the drug an exclusive right to sell the drug as long as the patent is in effect.
As the patent nears expiration, manufacturers can apply to the FDA for permission to make and sell generic versions of the drug; and without the startup costs for development of the drug, other companies can afford to make and sell it more cheaply. When multiple companies begin producing and selling a drug, the competition among them can also drive the price down even further.
So there's no truth in the myths that generic drugs are manufactured in poorer-quality facilities or are inferior in quality to brand-name drugs. The FDA applies the same standards for all drug manufacturing facilities, and many companies manufacture both brand-name and generic drugs. In fact, the FDA estimates that 50% of generic drug production is by brand-name companies.
Another common misbelief is that generic drugs take longer to work. The FDA requires that generic drugs work as fast and as effectively as the original brand-name products.
Sometimes, generic versions of a drug have different colors, flavors, or combinations of inactive ingredients than the original medications. Trademark laws in the United States do not allow the generic drugs to look exactly like the brand-name preparation, but the active ingredients must be the same in both preparations, ensuring that both have the same medicinal effects.

How to calculate the road slope? - gradeability

How to calculate the road slope?

Very useful  parameter when selecting an electric vehicle is the maximum slopeovercome. Here the explanations on the types of ascents and type of vehicles to be used.
how calculate max slope electric vehicles
Electric vehicles - Alkè ATX200E - traveling uphill in Arquà Petrarca - colli Euganei Italy

To calculate a percent slope simply you apply the following formula:
percent slope

If I cover one meter and I rise 30 cm the percentage of slope is 30%.
In practice how to do?
Just take a one meter shaft, a spirit level and a plumb line. Put the rule horizontally checking with the level, and then write down how long is the plumb wire, this distance will be the searched percentage.
Make attention don't confuse percentage and degrees. A 100% slope is a 45° slope... (try with the just explained method!)

WARNING: Gradeability for vehicles is measured in percentage, and it differs from the slope in degrees, for example, a 100% slope is a  45 degrees slope. The slope in percent and the slope in degrees are DIFFERENT.

Table of correspondence between percentages slope and degrees slope.
Slope in percentagesSlope in degreesVehicle type
  5% 2,86 degreesall electric vehicles
10% 5,71 degreesall electric vehicles
15% 8,53 degreesall electric vehicles
20% 11,31 degreesAlke' electric vehicle
25% 14,04 degreesAlke' electric vehicle
30% 16,70 degreesAlke' electric vehicle
35% 19,29 degreesAlke' electric vehicle HP25
40% 21,80 degreesAlke' electric vehicle HP25
45% 24,23 degrees2 wheel diesel vehicle
50% 26,57 degrees2 wheel diesel vehicle
55% 28,81 degrees2 wheel diesel vehicle
60% 30,96 degrees2 wheel diesel vehicle
up to 100% up to 45 degreesoff road vehicles 4x4

Is maximum slope the only important parameter
No, we must also consider how long it's such an uphill climb to overcome a 10-15 meter such as a ramp to the garage or in hospitals is very different from facing a climb of a hill.

Vehicles and slopes
: very often our customer ask us what is the best vehicle that best fits depending on the terrain and climbs to be tackled, we here a brief summary:
slope - electric vehicles test - ALKE - waste collection vehicles
slope - electric vehicles test - ALKE ATX 200E - waste collection vehicles

ParametersDescription
Garage rampAll Alkè ATX200E and ATX 100E electric vehicleshave no problem, because they are optimized for that situation.
Slope of an embankmentAn electric vehicle is able to deal with departures from standstill uphill smoothly
Dunes slopeFor sandy soils must have an electric vehicle or 100E ATX ATX200E with trim and off road kit "Alkè sand."
Hilly paths uphill 400mt.In this case it becomes necessary to have an electric vehicle ATX 100E or ATX 200E with HP25 power kit, and we must analyze the length and terrain characteristics.
Dirt up and downFor the dirt road you must have an electric vehicle ATX ATX 100E or 200E with SUV attitude and you have to go and analyze the slope of the most insidious that should not be above 30% if it is between 30% and 40% becomes need the kit HP25.
Dirt track - up to 60% gradientIn this case you need the vehicles Alkè Kubota Atx 100Dk or 200Dk.
Off Road - up to 100% gradientIn this case the best vehicles is Alkè 4x4

Signs of Slope:

Table: Recommendations to better tackle the slope with different road surfaces. Do not underestimate these parameters.
SlopeDescription
Slope asphaltThis slope is the easiest to address because the power required is constant.
Slope on dirt with holesThe presence of holes increases the slope so if you stop inside a hole is required in the event missed departure to go back.
Ascent stepsThe steps increase the slope of the hill so if you are greater than 7 cm. necessary to construct the tracks so that the slope is constant.
Ascent steps with hairpinThe hairpin is the critical point of a climb as it is missing a run and also it has the maximum slope, so it is here that we must calculate the slope of the hill.

How to combine multiple PDFs into one document

How to combine multiple PDFs into one document

Joining multiple PDFs into one document is easy if you have Acrobat--but if you'd rather save the money, there's a free program for Windows that does the trick.

Maybe you're constructing a portfolio, or maybe you just want to reduce file clutter.
Joining PDFs is handy now and then, but for those of us who haven't shelled out the bucks for Acrobat, it was previously out of reach. Now we can use PDFBinder, a free Windows app on the Google Code site that works admirably. Here's how to use it:
  1. Install PDFBinder here
    Step 1 - Download PDFBinder.
    Step 1 - Download PDFBinder.
  2. Launch PDF Binder.
    Step 2: Launch PDFBinder.
    Step 2: Launch PDFBinder.
  3. Drag and drop PDF files into PDFBinder or click Add file& to select PDFs to join.
  4. Select a PDF file and click the up and down arrows to position it correctly.
  5. When they're in the right order, click Bind! to begin the joining process. You will need to select a name for the final PDF.
    Step 5: Bind PDFs.
    Step 5: Bind PDFs.
The process doesn't take long, and the results look great.
